Kent
Kent Lambert is an accomplished musician, songwriter, singer and film maker. Kent was born in the mid seventies in Colorado. After visiting Japan as an eight year old he was inspired to begin playing music and began learning the piano with the aid of a tutor. He plays several instruments today but piano was his first foray into music. Music became a massive part of his life growing up participating in the school choir and a band. He continued learning piano, mainly classical, but in his spare time he began to experiment writing songs. He made his first four track recording at the tender age of seventeen.
At college Kent originally went for his first love and took classes in musical composition (which was more piano playing than composition itself) but then decided he would prefer to switch courses to film and video production. The film and video production route appealed not because he had lost his love of music but because he thought this degree would allow him more scope with his music. He regularly made musical scores for his own and other classmates films and enjoyed it tremendously. Most of these tunes were made with four tracks something that would feature in Kent’s early ancestor recordings, they certainly don’t break the bank and leave you needing debt solutions which could be debt management. As an interesting (interesting to me anyway) side note Kent has another pseudonym in Ocie Trimble, most of which are samples for videos that he watched. He came about the name Ocie Trimble in a very strange way which is better than one of his contemporaries names who strangely called his band stretch mark cream. It began when he moved to Iowa city back in ninety six, as he did not know anyone he did what any person interested in film does he took lots of photographs of the city. He left the images undeveloped for over two years but when he got around to it a particular photograph drew him in. It was of a University building that had a canoe in front with Ocie Trimble emblazoned on its find ancestors side. He was intrigued by the name and his artistic mind thought the photo would make great artwork for an album cover. he assumed the name was the brand of the canoe but decided to use it as a name for himself. Sometime later during a class he was taking he drew some sketches and passed them off as the work of ocie Trimble. Amazingly the professor of the class said he had once known a man with the very same name. The professor questioned Kent on why he had used this unusual name and Kent recounted the story. The professor went on to explain that Ocie was actually a friend of his and he had started the Iowa Rowing Society and the canoe was a homage to his achievements. Its an amazing coincidence that Kent should take a bunch of photos and then choose a name from a random image and then a year or so later run into a friend of the guy named in the photo. I hope we see some recorded material from Ocie Trimble sometime soon ot from kent in any other guise.
